Jered Smith to Pilot the 711 Racing’s Barry Wright
Jered Smith will be driving the 711 Racing’s Barry Wright super late model in the 2012 season. 711 Racing and Jered Smith Racing came to an agreement to run a super late model for the 2012 season. Jered will still run the NeSmith Crate Late Model Series when possible.The 18-year-old, Jered Smith, will make his Super late model depute sometime in March or April. This will be the first time ever for the young driver to have stepped in a super late model. Smith’s crate late model background only consists of 2 years with numerous heat wins and uncountable top 5 finishes. He also finished 2nd in Crate late model points at Jackson Motor Speedway in his rookie year. Jered Smith is excited about the upcoming season saying “This is a huge opportunity for me; I’m going to make every second count on and off the track.
